What have the boys at MT. Zion Electric been up to?Glad you asked 😎⚡
We just finished up a job replacing two old electrical panels in a home one of them being an outdated Pushmatic panel.
If you’ve got a Pushmatic, here’s the honest truth:These panels are old, worn out, and unreliable. The push-button breakers are known to fail to trip when they’re supposed to, meaning a dangerous overload or short circuit can stay live and that’s how electrical fires start. Over the years, breakers can stick in the ON position, even when something is seriously wrong. On top of that, Pushmatic parts are no longer made, so replacements are hard to find, expensive, and often refurbished junk. They were never built for today’s electrical loads, and it shows.
We ripped those panels out and installed two brand-new Square D QO panels one of the best, most dependable panels you can put in a home. QO breakers trip fast, have clear trip indicators, solid toggle handles, and parts that are easy to get if they’re ever needed down the road. These panels are built to handle modern power demands and give homeowners real peace of mind.
Bottom line:This house went from outdated and risky to safe, reliable, and future-ready.
👉 If your panel looks old, has push buttons, or you’re not sure how safe it really is it’s probably time to have it checked.Give MT. Zion Electric a call. We’ll shoot you straight and make sure your home is wired the right way.
