We’re definitely thankful for the cloud cover Tropical Storm Edouard brought us today! We may not have gotten much rain out of it, but after working through this Texas summer heat, the break from the sun felt like absolute HEAVEN! 🙌

New grass flap installed on one of our Wright Stander zero turn mowers! 🌱💪

This is a crucial addition when mowing close to homes, flower beds, roadways, and other areas where we need to better control grass clippings and debris. It helps us protect your property while still delivering a clean, professional cut.

With the lack of rain over the past several weeks, we’re starting to notice that some lawns simply aren’t growing like they normally would this time of year. Because of this, some properties may not need as much mowing or may have areas that are growing much slower than others.

💧 Please remember to WATER YOUR LAWNS! Extended periods without rain, combined with the Texas summer heat, can quickly stress your grass and potentially cause long-term damage.

A good deep watering 2–3 times per week is much better than a quick daily sprinkle. Early morning is generally the best time to water so the grass can absorb the moisture before the heat of the day.

We’ll continue monitoring each property and servicing your lawn based on its needs. Hopefully Mother Nature sends us some much-needed rain soon! 🌧️🤞

After last week’s demo of the Wright Stand-On mowers from Bobby Ford Kubota, we were so impressed that we decided to make a BIG change at Turf Surfers!

We’re officially replacing all of our current mowing equipment with Wright Mowers! 💪🏼

Bobby Ford Kubota recently started carrying the Wright brand, and we’re grateful for the opportunity they gave us to put these machines to the test in real world conditions before making the switch.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be putting these mowers through their paces and sharing in depth, real world reviews the good, the bad, and everything in between.

If you’re in the market for a new commercial mower, I’d definitely recommend checking out Wright Mowers at Bobby Ford Kubota.

We were able to service a few properties before Bertha made landfall today. Unfortunately, the weather kept us from completing the rest of today’s route.

As a result, the majority of our Brazoria properties have been moved to Saturday’s service schedule. We also have a few homes in Lake Jackson that we were unable to service due to the heavy rains.

Don’t settle for subpar lawn care. While I’m not saying we’re the greatest lawn care company of all time, we do take pride in our work and strive to deliver our very best on every property we service.

There are several great lawn care companies in our area that share those same values, and we believe quality service matters.

At this time, Turf Surfers is not accepting any new lawn maintenance clients for the remainder of the season. However, if you’re looking for a reliable company, I’d be more than happy to point you in the right direction and recommend a few businesses that do quality work.

After giving it a lot of thought, we've decided that with our current lawn care workload, we will be selling our water slide and discontinuing rentals for the remainder of the year.

The good news is that the water slide will still be available for rent through its new local owners. If you're interested in renting it, feel free to send us a message and we'll be happy to pass along their contact information.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who has rented from us over the years. We truly appreciate your support and all the memories you've helped create.

This isn't goodbye forever! Our goal is to purchase a brand new unit at the end of the year and bring rentals back even better than before.
