Before, during and after of a massive basswood tree removal in Lake Mills WI. When this tree was damaged by lightning earlier this month, it revealed the center of the main log was hollow, all the way to the ground. Once we ground the stump and hauled away all the woodchips, we filled the resulting hole with topsoil and grass seed, then covered it with straw. With the consistent rain showers we've been having, this property will be looking better than ever before in no time.
