One of my favorite things about being part of the Lake Orion community is getting to know so many talented, passionate women who are building incredible businesses while also showing up wholeheartedly for their families and communities.

I just finished listening to this episode of The Wander Mom Diaries featuring my friend Mikayla Blevins of Moonrae Photography, and it was such a great conversation! (I actually had to stop myself from boycoyting my daily tasks to dig into marketing because the episode was so inspiring!)

Mikayla is one of those people whose heart shines through in everything she does, and hearing her story and perspective was a reminder of why so many people love working with her.

And of course, a huge shoutout to Mandi Kramer of Trailforge Marketing for creating a space where local women can share their journeys, experiences, and the realities of entrepreneurship and motherhood. Meet Carrie—the one turning ideas into something you can actually see and understand.

As our CAD designer, she builds out the 3D models and Construction Design Manuals that bring clarity to every detail—so what’s been discussed doesn’t get lost somewhere between design and construction.

She has a sharp eye for alignment, proportion, and the small things most people would miss. The kind of things that, if overlooked, turn into questions, delays, or do-overs later.

But what makes her work so valuable is how it makes everything feel more certain.

You’re not guessing what something might look like. You’re seeing it. Understanding it. Feeling confident moving forward.

And around here, she and Wrangler—her mini goldendoodle—keep things just the right amount of playful. 🐶

Today marks the end of an era—Cheyenne's last day with us, and we're already missing her! 💙

From day one, Cheyenne brought incredible energy, a strong work ethic, and genuine care to everything she touched. Carrie and I have been so fortunate to watch her grow and contribute to our projects in such meaningful ways.

Cheyenne, you're going to do amazing things. Thank you for being such a bright light on our team and for reminding us why we love what we do. We're cheering you on every step of the way!

This is a sneak peek at a current project we're working on (in the concpetual phase) exploring wet bar color schemes.

The lighter palette shifts the space in a different direction. Brighter, softer, and timeless.While the deeper tone creates moody contrast and a sense of intimacy—giving the bar a sexy vibe.

Every decision—tone, contrast, material—impacts how the space feels when you’re actually living in it, which is why we always render our designs so that clients can see what it will look like before they commit. It makes the biggest difference when it comes to making confident decisions!

Meet Tonya—the steady presence behind Adamo.

With over 30 years of experience on job sites and a background in construction, she brings a level of clarity most design processes are missing.

She thinks through sequencing, coordination, and how decisions will actually play out during construction—not just how they look on paper.

But that’s not what people remember most.

It’s how different the process feels with her in it.

Things that once felt overwhelming start to feel manageable. Decisions feel clearer. There’s a sense that someone is really paying attention—not just to the design, but to how it all comes together.
