Storms are rolling through the area right now, so just a quick reminder for friends and neighbors.
If anyone ends up with roof damage, missing shingles, leaks, or debris on the roof, feel free to reach out. Once things pass and it’s safe, I’m happy to stop by and take a look.
Sometimes what looks like major damage is actually a simple repair, and other times it ends up being something insurance should look at. The first step is always just getting eyes on it.
If you notice: • Water spots on ceilings
• Shingles in the yard
• Pieces of siding or fascia blown off
• Gutters pulling loose
Those are all good reasons to have it checked.

Storms are expected to move through our area soon, so I just wanted to put this out there for friends and neighbors.
If anyone ends up with roof damage, leaks, or missing shingles, feel free to reach out and I’d be happy to take a look.
One thing I always try to be honest about is that sometimes it’s hard to know whether something is a simple repair or an insurance claim. Even after doing this a long time, there have been times I thought it might not qualify and the insurance company still approved a roof.
Because of that, my approach is usually:
• Inspect the roof first
• If it looks minor we talk repair
• If it’s questionable I’ll recommend having your insurance adjuster take a look
The goal is simply making sure homeowners don’t spend money out of pocket if they don’t need to.
For anyone who doesn’t know me, I run Rome Renovations here locally, and my wife Amber and I are raising our family right here in the Lake St. Louis community. Hey everyone I know a lot of people don't know this but roofs are something that we do as well. New roofs and storm damage repairs, tear offs and installs for roll roofs, 3 tab and architectural. We are also working into the commercial side for larger scale asphalt shingle roofs, tpo, and epdm. Also all things exterior seamless gutters, gutter guards, siding, soffit and fascia. Thanks Scott Guthrie and Kathy Guthrie for all the business! This one seemed to get a lot of praise. Went with a bold color SW Tricorn black for trim. Which worked really well with SW Nebulous white walls and fresh oak lifeproof floor. Flat black dryfall in the floor joist cavity rounded out the space and gave it good depth and feel.

Hey everyone sorry for the long hiatus but some good people reminded me of the importance of sharing the work we do. I've long been a family man that's how I was raised. In the last so many years I've started a family of my own about the same time I started this business. And in my spare time that I would have to enjoy with them I found myself being consumed by social media from the business side and personal. At the time I just felt like I was taking a away from raising my little ones. So it was easy enough for me to take my focus off creating post for my business. I know many people are better at this than myself and some might say it doesn't take all that much but for me being a small self employed business it just took up too much of my time. But again i know and see the value of showing the work we do so we will continue to try and improve this side of our business as we grow. We're still here we're blessed and we're working on trying to reach our full potential. That being said stay tuned to check out some of the pictures of work we have done over the past years and let us know if we can help with your projects.
