🔄 The journey starts with Hauling Material bringing in tons of material, ensuring it's efficiency and responsibly.

💧 Next comes the intricate process of drying it up, transforming raw material into a valuable resource.

🚜 Once dried, it's off to the next stage of its journey, Shipping it to Farms and facilities where it becomes fertilizer, enriching soil and nurturing crops.

🌱 The cycle continues with Spreading the material, striking it (the action of leveling, compacting, or smoothing the material to ensure it is evenly distributed across a surface), and loading up for the next round of impact.

Please join us for The Grayslake Sips for Scholarships Craft Beer Festival this weekend June 15th from 12am-5pm. The Festival is brought to you through the efforts of the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce and the Exchange Club of Grayslake to raise money for Grayslake High School student scholarships. We are very proud to say that we have given back over $300,000 to our community.

FWC Board Member met with Senator Elgie Sims, Jr., 17th District, Illinois House Representative Minority Leader Toni McCombie, 89th District and other in Springfield last week to lobby for a new retention bill. The proposed amendment only requires agencies to deposit retained funds in an interest-bearing escrow account. Several states have a similar law. The State Treasurer offers a well-established program for local governments to deposit funds with the office if they don’t want to use a bank or credit union..
