We are sad to announce that our brother Carpule (Mark Estes) has moved on to his place in the Center of the Universe. Information on his celebration of life is below.
🐠🐠Flounder in the Depths Carpule! Shine On! 🐠🐠

Carpule's memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, in Lake Wales, FL. 221 S Fourth Street, Lake Wales, FL 33853, 863-676-8578.

The memorial service begins at 2:00 PM, and his ashes will be placed in the church memorial garden, followed by a celebration of his life with all of the people he loved, and the music he adored, during a very special “wake/party” that he always wanted to celebrate his life, in the church parish hall.

Music will be played by a variety of his friends, and instead of flowers, and if you wish, donations will be gratefully accepted to benefit “Sandy’s Music Girls” which is a well known and loved, non-profit organization, that teaches girls and young women how to play Americana and Bluegrass music.

We have just received word that our brother Nozzule (Dick Benson) has has moved on to take his place in the Center of the Universe. He joins Assoul the Great and all the others that have gone before us.

2025 Parade Route is here!
Parade Date: March 1st, 2025, 3pm

With the opening of Scenic and Park Avenue, we will be dancing through the streets of the newly designed downtown. We can't wait to see everyone. Make sure to get downtown early and bring your chairs. The streets close at 11am and will reopen after the parade. Make sure to show our downtown businesses some love!
