Before and after pictures. We put a couple fresh coats on the existing cabinets, replaced the doors and drawers, and added some pullout shelves. We also replaced the lazy Susans and modified one cabinet to make two narrow drawers into one. The old hinges and drawer slides were replaced with new soft close.

Usually I recommend full replacement because the doors and drawers are most of the cost in a kitchen. Also replacing the cabinets gives us more freedom to design and maximize storage. The cabinets are in good condition and the countertops were already replaced so this was the best option.
