This is flowerbed redesign we just about wrapped up today. We installed some new shrubs and plants as well as seasonal color. We freshened up the mulch and added some rock for a little contrast. We finished it up by adding a new mulch bed along the shady side of the house. We will fill it up with some shade tolerant plants in the near future.

A little rock work today…

This customer was having issues with w**d growth and just overall disappointed with the previous rock install. We ripped it all out, laid new commercial w**d mat, but we intend on keeping this oversized white rock (very expensive material). We’re going to lay down a thick layer of small Tex-Mex River Rock (3/8-1inch) and then top it back off with the original oversized white rock… saving the customer a little money on this project. We will also be doing a little mortar repair on a few pieces of landscape border.

This was a very tough solo project. Lots of hand digging and wheel-barrowing due to very little access, but I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I did the almost exact same job at the beginning of the season for another family member of this client. This black star just comes out so clean and elevates any landscape project….as well helping with drainage. If there’s anything we can help with feel free to call or text.

This is what I like to call a dead area. Very little sun, lots of residual moisture, and an uneven slope. You will usually end up with very little or struggling grass, mud, and drainage issues. I did a little dirt work to sure up the grade, laid geotextile landscape mat, formed the borders with recycled composite bender board, and then laid 3 yards of Sabine River rock & 1.5 yards of Decomposed Granite. No more issues or eyesore for these 2 properties. If there’s anything we can help with feel free to call or text.

Large dry creek bed I’m installing out in Aledo. These clients were having a serious issue with drainage, erosion control, and water flow. I came up with an idea for this… not only will it help with all the above mentioned problems, it looks nice as well. Definitely top of the list for my favorite kind of projects.

• Aerated & Top Dressed w/ 10 yards of Sand / Soil blend from Living Earth
• 7 pallets of Raleigh St Augustine from King Ranch Turfgrass
• 3 trees removed, 4 tree heavily trimmed
• 4 rotors, 3 pop up sprinklers added
• 1 stump removed

Picked up this 2025 US Built 16x7x3 Gooseneck yesterday. Our Big Tex 7x14x4 bumper pull served us very well and we will continue to use it, but we needed something a little longer and a gooseneck for our skid steer. This trailer was perfect… just the right length, gooseneck, and 8k axles. Very happy seeing both trailers and trucks loaded next to each other with me and my little brother driving them.
