🌧️ Florida Rain + Construction = A Little Extra Patience! 🏡🔨

Anyone who lives in Florida knows our weather can be unpredictable—and lately, the rain has definitely been keeping us on our toes!

Heavy rainfall can have a major impact on construction schedules, especially when we’re working on properties that require fill and site preparation. When the ground is saturated, we have to allow time for the property to dry out enough to properly build, compact, and prepare the site. Rushing this part of the process simply isn’t worth compromising the quality of the home.

Rain delays also have a ripple effect throughout the construction industry. Our subcontractors work with multiple builders and projects, so when several days are lost to weather, their schedules can quickly become backed up as well.

We know delays can be frustrating, and we appreciate the patience and understanding of our homeowners. At Marchant Construction, our goal isn’t just to get it done quickly—it’s to get it done right. ❤️🏡

Here’s hoping for a few stretches of that beautiful Florida sunshine! ☀️
