Sometimes small spaces can be the most rewarding projects. This small back yard was all concrete, hot and uninviting. We broke up all of that concrete by creating gravel joints, which defined spaces. The pergola created shade and a feeling of an outdoor room. The cedar screens , decking and plants added warmth. Who wouldn’t want to hang here???

ASSISTANT TO THE OWNER/ LEAD DESIGNER:

C&H Landscaping is a busy design/ build landscape company that serves the entire metro area. We are looking for an assistant to the owner/ lead designer. Applicants must have a positive attitude, be able to multitask, switch gears often & be extremely organized. Applicants must have general computer skills (Office 365, Xcel, Quickbooks etc. are a plus). Willing to train as long as applicant has great generalized computer skills. Applicants interested in or experience in the Landscape Industry a huge plus!

Our focus is on quality work, happy customers and creative designs. Good customer service and people skills a must.

Qualifications:

-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Proficient in Office 365 and Quickbooks ideal
-Ability to take direction and switch gears if asked
-Candidate must be self-directed with strong work ethics
-Must be able to work well with others
-Must be highly organized
-Must have a positive, fun attitude

Job Duties Include:

-Answering phones and scheduling for owner and designers
-Site visits and in field errands
-Picking up samples and working with clients at times
-Creating crew folders, material lists and placing orders
-Invoicing, change orders & work orders in Quickbooks
-Spreadsheets in Xcel
-Assisting the owner and lead designer as needed with projects
-Permit applications
-Keep office organized and stocked
-Site measurements
-Working with vendors

Pay & Benefits:

Pay depends on experience. $20-$27 per hour.
Benefits include PTO, and the potential for health insurance & 401k after 1 year.

C&H Landscaping is seeking a highly motivated, driven individual to join our landscape design team. C&H Landscaping is a fast-paced, fun environment and looking for the right person for the job. At C&H, we run 6 in-house, experienced installation crews that specialize in custom residential design/ build. We are looking for an experienced landscape designer or architect to design, bid and sell jobs to residential clients. Must have extensive knowledge about construction, hardscapes, drainage, bidding and estimating, plants and have good sales ability. Our focus is on quality work, happy customers and creative designs. Good customer service and people skills a must.

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER/ ARCHITECT

Qualifications:

BS in Landscape Design or Architecture ideal, but will consider others with good experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Google Sketchup and/or CAD, Xcel & Quickbooks ideally
Good sales ability with a focus on quality work as well as producing profitable jobs
Experience and willingness to supervise other employees
Candidate must be self-directed with strong work ethics
Must be able to work well with others and be a good leader/ manager
Must be highly organized
Must have a positive attitude
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Duties Include:

Client consultations
Site measurements
Creating & selling detailed, creative designs and putting together client bid packages
Managing sold projects from start to finish with the installation crews with an emphasis on client relationships
Tagging plant material for jobs
Materials orders
Invoicing, change orders & work orders in Quickbooks
Final walkthroughs with clients and continued follow up
Assisting the owner and lead designer as needed with projects
Pay & Benefits:

Pay depends on experience and average sales- Starting at 50k and up plus commission
Benefits include PTO, health insurance & 401k match after 1 year
