Well, it’s that time of the year again Green Tech Excavation is now hiring heavy equipment Operators and Lead Guys (Pierce and King County Area) Compensation: Our guys average $60,000 to $147,000 a year. Plus, medical benefits ++ DOE and Prevailing Wage plus paid vacation. We are a Small Excavation Contractor is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators and lead guys to join our Team doing commercial and residential projects in the greater Puget Sound Area. Job Duties: Operate Proficiently: Track Excavators, Compactors, Skid Steers and other equipment, MUST be able to read and interpret prints. Work with our Superintendents and Foremen to meet and exceed job goals. Job Requirements: Safety MUST be priority #1 At least 5 Years of experience Clean Driving Record, CDL helps but not required. Be willing to get off machine to help on the ground when needed. Have good knowledge of all aspects of earthwork. Be able to lift 50+ pounds. We recently had a customer call us to take a look at a drainage problem that ended up eroding their whole hillside and needed some qualified excavation contractors to help them out. I'm not going to lie, this job was challenging due to the circumstances and scary to say the least 150+ feet straight down. But never the less we like challenges and enjoy resolving them. We ended up rerouting the drain lines that created the problem in the first place. Took the area to the north and lowered it and recreated our 2:1 slope. Placed Geo Mat and Geo Grid along hillside, placed straw, hydro seeded and laid plastic to let the vegetation to reestablish along the hillside and keep the water off. Loved the owners such great people, I'm just glad they found us to help them in their situation.
