New construction and repairs and get so expensive, right? Many people search for a contractor while wanting to spend the least amount of money possible - this is a HUGE MISTAKE. Remember, for every percentage less another contractor quotes you, double that percentage and that’s the amount of risk that was just raised.
Example: You just received a quote from a quality contractor for a project that should cost you $2,000. You took that quote over to someone much less qualified, yet could be helping you think they are qualified - and they quoted you $1,500. That’s 25% less than the quote you received from the qualified contractor which means your risk just increased by 50% for hiring them. Likely, you’ll spend more than that when the qualified contractor has to come repair what they had just done.
Tip: Do your due diligence, be realistic and hire quality so the job gets done safely and done right the first time around.
