Again I can’t stress enough how important having a clean filter in your furnace is right now. Save yourself a silly expensive service call and make sure you have a clean filter in the furnace.

Anytime you use one of the “Big” companies make sure you get a second opinion or estimate without telling the second company what the first one said. I’m really amazed at how and what these “Big” companies get away with. My job as a service tech is to repair what you have unless there is a safety issue. The Big companies always try to sell you new equipment for obvious reasons. I’ve ran into several instances here lately where I was able to repair the equipment for less than 200 dollars and the “Big” companies had given them estimates in the thousands. Just saying consumer beware!!

The heating season is sneaking up on us fast. If you or someone you know is having an issue with heat, give me a call. Also it's a good time of the year to have the ducts clean so you can breath cleaner healthier air as you spend more and more time indoors. It's also a good idea to have your system checked out prior to the full blown heating season. I run carbon monoxide checks and clean up as well as tune up your furnace.
