Some of our favorite projects are the ones where the past and the present meet in the middle. ⚡🏛️

Claypool Electric is proud to be part of the Ohio History Connection's revitalization of Ohio Village in Columbus — an 8.5-acre National Register historic site being brought into the 21st century. Our team is handling the underground power distribution, site lighting, ADA pathway lighting, structured cabling and security systems that will keep this historic village running for generations to come.

It takes a careful hand to modernize a site like this without losing what makes it special and our crews are treating every inch of it that way. Full reopening is set for 2027 and we can't wait to see the finished village come back to life.

This past weekend, Team Claypool Electric hit the pavement for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk ❤️

Our crew came out to walk alongside thousands of others in the Columbus community, all supporting a cause that's touched so many of our own families and coworkers. Heart disease and stroke are the leading causes of death in the U.S. and events like this fund lifesaving research and education.

Thank you to everyone who came out and walked with us and to the American Heart Association for putting on such a great event. We'll see you next year!

Behind every project, service call, and success story is a family.

This year, nearly 400 employees and family members gathered at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to celebrate what truly makes Claypool Electric special: our people.

Bringing together team members from Columbus, Athens, Newark and Lancaster gave us the chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new colleagues and spend quality time with the people who support us every day. A powerful reminder that Claypool Electric is more than a company, it's a community.

⚡ Site Spotlight: Kilbourne Run Sports Park ⚡

From site and parking lot lighting to decorative fixtures and bollards, the Claypool Electric team has been powering up Kilbourne Run Sports Park in partnership with the City of Columbus. Even before the ribbon was cut, the community was already making use of the space — and now, with soccer tournaments in full swing, we're proud to see it come to life.

Zoo Day at Claypool Electric gave our team a chance to slow down, spend time with family and enjoy being together outside the workday.

From lunch to group photos to a few fun moments around the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, it was a good reminder that the people behind the work are what make Claypool feel like Claypool.

Big job. Local team.

Our crews are on site at the new Muskingum County Jail in Zanesville, working under Granger Construction to power the facility from the ground up. The scope includes power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security-integrated systems and detention-grade rough-in throughout the housing units.

At 102,950 square feet, with roughly 125,000 feet of conduit and close to a million feet of wire and cable to pull, there’s a lot happening behind these progress shots. Good to see this one taking shape.

What a great day at Dozers & Diggers! 🚧 Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent. Families climbed aboard our bucket truck, got an up-close look at how itworks and met the operators behind it. A day full of hands-on discovery for kids and grown-ups alike!

Swapping the tool belts for volunteer gear — that's what the Claypool team did last week in Athens! We spent the day giving back alongside Habitat for Humanity. ⚡ It's a good reminder that building community matters just as much as building projects.
