North Texas here is a suggested list to get done this weekend:

Fertilize your turf grass, flowers pots and trees.

By the end of the month aerate and put down your perennial rye grass.

Lay down and Bermuda sod you wish to install or repair.

Cleanup flower and shrub beds of any dead materials.

Check your irrigation system for leaks and adjusting your watering schedule.

Spring is right around the corner in Texas. Depending on where you live it’s a great time to do the following:
1. Trim back your roses 🥀
2. Thin out your Nandinas.
3. Apply pre-emergent with fertilizer for spring w**ds.
4. Tune up and check your irrigation system.
5. Cleanup flower and shrub beds from leaves 🍁.

We have had a lot of calls this week about broad leaf w**ds in the grass. We strongly recommend a herbicide to be applied as a granular or liquid. We don't suggest a "w**d n feed" type product. It has growth inhibitors in it which slows down the process of w**ds, but more importantly it slows down your grass from greening up. So in short your neighbors lawn will look nice and green and yours not so much. Call us if we can help. 214-769-2287
