Brought new life to a garden bench that was falling apart. Literally falling apart with rotten wood and rusty cast iron with bits of algea growing on it.

Tore it completely down. Custom cut and shaped new planks. I routed the edges to soften them on your backside.
I stained the planks with aged barrel stain and top coated with 3 coats of exterior grade spar urethane.
I hit the cast iron with rust dissolver and a wire wheel to clean it up and prep for finish. I finished it off with black semi gloss enamel.
And just for consistency I used black powder coated bolts to hold it all together.

It's surprisingly comfortable. This one is for me to keep. But I offer similar services for customers.

Did a quick storm door Install in Clifton Heights. It was an off size opening. We installed a block on one side to pad the frame out so it would take a standard size storm door.
Opted for the Andersen 4000 series door.

Did I mention we do shutters?

Replacement shutters for a new customer in Kennett Square.

The only hiccup here was the sizing. She had purchased the shutters before calling us. 2 of the shutters were the wrong size. Luckily the correct size was in stock and, with a little help from us, our friends at Lowe's got her sorted out with the correct ones, no sweat.

(Yes we picked up and hauled away the old shutters. I'm a contractor not an artist. Sometimes photos are taken before final clean up.)

Sometimes we get brought in for part of a job.
This customer in Oxford just needed us to rip out a rotten sub floor, level the area, then install new sub floor.
The goal was to get the floor level across the room and even with the closet.
We got it taken care of. Now the floor guy can install the rolled vinyl with minimal fuss on his end.

Over the winter we had a rush job for another long time customer in New Garden. They were selling their house and had to replace a window as a condition of sale.
We got lucky that a standard size window would work. And the lead time worked with the closing date.
We got the new window installed and the closing went off without a hitch.

Some jobs come to you out of necessity. For this job in Oxford we had to rebuild the stairs. Someone in the house had fallen through the steps and did some damage.
Seeing how loose the treads were and how they were barely hanging on, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. But we are glad no one was seriously injured.

After removing all the stair treads and risers. We installed new hardwood treads and risers. We made sure they had a full overlap in the mounting slots.
We finished by tacking down the old carpet. The owner intends to address that in the future. But when emergency repairs come up, the money isn't always there to do everything you want.
The stairs are solid and safe and ready for the next step when the homeowner is ready.

Avondale borough Mayor Susan Rzicidlo brought us in last fall for a quick assembly job.
This climbing set made a nice addition to the second street park in Avonde. With footers set in concrete, it's as sturdy as a tank.
The kiddos should have a blast.
