Some tips homeowners can do to update their stairs and railings .a urethane or pickled can be removed with repeated steps of sanding, stripper, wire brush to get in the grain. It’s a tedious, tile consuming process that can save thousands just in prep work. Or with some sanding , cleaning, a high build oil primer and top coat , can give you an elegant black railing.
