In Loving Memory of Tasha Moses 🖤🕊️
We pause to honor the life of Tasha Moses. A devoted mother of four, a dedicated public servant, and a proud tradeswoman who spent 12 years serving the City of St. Petersburg’s Sanitation Department.
Tasha went to work to serve her community, operating heavy equipment with skill, strength, and pride. She should have returned home to her children. Instead, her life was tragically taken while on the job in what authorities describe as a targeted act of violence.
As tradeswomen, this loss weighs heavily on our hearts. Every woman who laces up her boots, climbs into equipment, or steps onto a jobsite deserves to know that she will return home safely at the end of the day.
To Tasha’s family, friends, and coworkers, we extend our deepest condolences. We mourn with you, and we honor a woman whose dedication and hard work made a difference in her community.
To our sisters in the trades:
We see you. We hear you. We stand beside you. You deserve workplaces and lives free from violence.
May Tasha’s memory remind us that protecting women is not optional. It is a responsibility we all share.
