Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable team member to join our tree service crew, specializing in stump grinding, site restoration, and tree planting. This position involves operating equipment, performing physical outdoor work, and helping restore and enhance residential and commercial landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stump grinding equipment safely and efficiently
Grind tree stumps below grade and remove surface roots as needed
Perform site restoration including backfilling, grading, and seeding
Plant new trees according to proper arboricultural standards
Assist with soil preparation, mulching, staking, and watering
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Communicate effectively with crew members and customers when needed
Qualifications:
Experience in tree service, landscaping, or outdoor labor preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
Ability to operate or learn to operate machinery and equipment
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
Valid driver’s license. CDL is a bonus.
