Fire in the hole! Honored to work with Weiss Family Farms on rehabilitating a 14-year old well. Increased capacity by around 50% to help keep the corn growing this dry summer. Despite some surprises along the way, managed to turn this project around in under a week.

A busy week for the CTW crew at the WIAWWA conference last week. Troy Simonar and Kevin Obiala won the golf outing with their group, Roger Olson won the best photograph award for his picture from the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, and Hunter Cummens placed 2nd in the Young Professionals 5k run/walk. Looking forward to next years conference!

We water folk may seem boring but we do other cool stuff with water other than just making it flow! Team member Jackson performs for the Ski Sprites water ski show which placed in the top 10 of the National Competition in August.

Had a great time with Wisconsin Rural Water Associa Tion helping educate water operators on well house maintenance, efficiencies, and pump design up in Rice Lake. Can't beat the food from Old Southern BBQ Smokehouse and homemade treats along with great conversation. Check out Rural Water's website for upcoming trainings but sign up quick- all our classes have been full!

Think your booster pumps are free from some of the issues well pumps run into? Take a look at some of the pumps we worked on this week- from mouse nests to nearly sheared keys, to splits in the pipe and massive biofilm, please keep an eye on your boosters. We noticed higher vibration levels that increased on one triggering a pull recommendation and by comparing the motor amperage to the pump output can detect water loss issues.

To say it was a hot week is an understatement! Big shout out to our crew Matt, Andy, and Jack along with co-owner Troy for working tirelessly to serve our customer on a 700' deep setting in 90+ degree heat. This setting had ripped apart centralizing spiders to the point where they completely separated (see attached normal vs this setting). Looking forward to providing a reliable solution to keep the water pumping.
