A Prayer for Election Day
Heavenly Father,
Today, as our nation gathers to vote, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Pour out discernment upon the hearts and minds of every voter, that each decision made would reflect compassion, integrity, and the desire for true goodness. May each person feel the weight and honor of their choice, choosing with clarity and purpose.
We lift up those who will be elected, asking that they lead with humility, wisdom, and a heart that serves both You and the people. May they seek the common good above personal gain, striving to bring justice, peace, and righteousness in all their decisions.
Guide our leaders, Lord, to protect and care for the vulnerable, to honor the dignity of all, and to pursue unity over division. We pray that in all things, Your will is done, and that the choices made today honor Your truth and grace.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
May this prayer bring peace and hope as we trust the outcomes to God's loving care.
