Education creates opportunity, and we're proud to be helping build spaces designed to do exactly that.

At the Thumb Correctional Facility, Granger Construction is partnering with the Michigan Department of Corrections to create a dedicated learning environment that will expand access to college courses, career and technical education programs, and workforce training opportunities. The new Thumb Education Center will support hundreds of students and help prepare individuals for success beyond incarceration.

Building on our experience delivering educational facilities within correctional environments, including projects at the MDOC Vocational Village, Parnall Correctional Facility and Westville Correctional Facility, our team understands the unique considerations required to create spaces that are secure, functional and conducive to learning.

Eevon joins Granger Construction as an Accounts Payable Specialist, supporting our accounting team at the Lansing HQ office. Eevon brings more than 14 years of financial experience, with a strong background in accounts payable, financial reporting, vendor management and process improvement. Her attention to detail and commitment to accurate, efficient processes will be a valuable addition to our team.

At more than 300,000 square feet, this transformative facility creates a new hub for recreation, wellness and connection, enhancing the student experience and enriching campus life for generations of Spartans.

This recognition reflects the collaboration and dedication of MSU and the exceptional team of architects at Moody Nolan and ROSSETTI, engineers at Peter Basso Associates, Inc and trade partners who helped bring the vision to life. Together, we created a destination designed to support student well-being, foster community and serve as a centerpiece of campus for years to come.
