Not all concrete damage requires the same repair.

From a distance, this may look like a simple patch.

Before recommending a repair, we'd want to answer a few important questions:

How often should a business renovate?

As a general planning benchmark, businesses should evaluate their interiors about every 10 years.

That does not mean every property must be renovated on the same schedule. It means that after a decade of regular use, floors, paint, ceilings, and other finishes should be evaluated for replacement or improvement.

A renovation may be needed sooner when the business changes.

Even modest growth can create the need to use space differently. An underused room might become an open work area, conference room, private office, or another space that better supports employees.

Customer facing businesses must also consider what the condition of the property communicates. Worn finishes, damaged flooring, or an outdated interior can affect trust and perception before a conversation even begins.

Employee spaces matter as well. The layout and condition of a workplace can influence productivity, safety, morale, and retention.

Safety and accessibility concerns should never wait for a renovation schedule. When a property creates barriers or exposes customers and employees to unnecessary risk, improvements should be evaluated promptly.
