Season 2 of Raising the Roof took us to some of the most unique and challenging projects we’ve worked on — the kind where you really appreciate the view from the drone once everything is finished.

But the view from the ground while you’re actually figuring out how to get it done? That’s a different story.

Turns out following roofers around with cameras all day gives you a lot of footage that probably wasn’t in the original content plan. 😂

Things go wrong. Plans change. People say things they probably forgot they said five minutes later. And somehow, the roof still gets done.

We kept the cameras rolling for all of it.

A lot of roofing companies require a deposit before they start your project, and that’s pretty normal in this industry. What worry about there is that you’re asking a homeowner to hand over thousands of dollars before they’ve seen any of the work. And in Florida especially, we all know there are plenty of stories about homeowners putting money down with a contractor and then having a completely different experience than what they were promised.

That’s why we don’t take a signing deposit on projects under $30,000. We’d rather complete the roof, make sure you’re happy with the work and the experience, and then collect payment.

For us, it really comes down to being confident enough in our process to do the work before asking you to pay us for it.

Seamless gutters, made right on site. 👏

Our Trust Gutter Systems crew was out in the field today fabricating and installing a custom seamless gutter system built specifically for this home.

Because the gutters are formed on site to the exact measurements needed, you get fewer seams, a cleaner look, and a system designed to fit the home—not the other way around.

We recently launched our seamless gutter division, and it’s been great seeing the crew bring it to life one project at a time.
