You’ve seen this before, right? Bumper stickers that ask what you think about the individual’s driving skills, sometimes on cars speeding and dodging without caution between lanes.

This isn’t to say everyone is driving poorly; but if you haven’t seen a driver just itching to pass you, only to zoom forward and tailgate the next car, consider yourself lucky.

For this second week of National Safety Council’s , we urge you to stay on whatever type of roads you on – the dirt roads of our jobsites or the paved, construction-filled freeways and streets around the city. Driving a mixer, a lift on-site, a construction buggy, or company truck – requires attention and awareness of what’s happening around you. Keep your eyes on the road, maintain the speed limit, use your seat belt and other vehicle safety features, and be respectful of others while driving. The health and well-being of yourself and those around you matters!

Back by popular demand, our team brought the spirit of Hawaii to the to represent Aloha Fridays for the month of June! Employees wore their best Hawaiian gear, clothing, and accessories. Each article of Aloha raised $5 to support a local nonprofit. A Hawaiian-themed luncheon and Kona Ice truck helped our group enjoy each other’s company in great style for a cause.

Our started their summer off diving right into company culture yesterday. The afternoon began with our quarterly Town Hall meeting, followed by a fun-filled game against executive management!

Best of two games gave one group of elders – the K-Pop Demon Kickers – the ultimate win and bragging rights!

BIG thanks to the other teams: Twisted Kickers, Country Fried Kickin’, and The Fresh Kicks of Bel-Air.

The Vegas heat didn’t stop our players from dive-bombing into bases and giving the games their all. Shout out to the employees and family member cheering squads who showed up to support from the sidelines.

Construction is inherently dangerous, and every individual who steps foot on an All 5’s jobsite is responsible for .

Recognizing , we’re focusing on four critical pillars of safety for each week of June, starting with Moving Safety Forward. Our team recently used a pneumatic robot to install heavy doors, which was the perfect efficiency tool and safety approach for this task.

Applying in the field to help with construction safety, in addition to conducting focused job walks and toolbox training encourages others to discuss, develop, and implement forward-thinking strategies. Employee recognition for further motivates field crews to remain vigilant when it comes to their personal safety and the well-being of those around them.
