Aptus We provide a holistic approach to service, design, and construction. Our approach is grounded in listening to our clients, and building empathy.

Beyond design, beyond service, Aptus is more than just an architecture firm: We specialize in building relationships. We are a relationship-based consultancy, focused on delivering value through architecture and interior design, and civil engineering services. We care about our clients, and the attention to detail that goes into making every project a success. We are interactive and collaborative

by nature, and feel these are essential ingredients in the making of any successful project. Far too often, firms are more preoccupied with trying to sell a solution before they even understand the problem. This philosophy also explains the great diversity of our project history. With decades of experience in architecture, interiors, and civil engineering, our integrated approach to design allows us to bring these teams together in-house. Our shared values and commitment to excellence also help facilitate the design and coordination process with our consultants, which ultimately serve the best interests of our clients.

Celebrating the Groundbreaking for the City of Mesquite Animal Shelter Expansion!

It was a wonderful day marked by a heartfelt ceremony from the City of Mesquite that brought together stakeholders, community members, the design team, and—of course—our furry friends. The excitement and anticipation for the new space were felt by all in attendance. Thank you to Patti, Travis, and Joe for your kind words—we’ve truly enjoyed collaborating with you throughout this project.

Project highlights: 4,000 SF addition with a dedicated cat room and critter room, welcoming adoption area, catios, a quarantine space, with a new central lobby, upgraded HVAC, and vital support spaces. All are thoughtfully designed to enhance the existing shelter and serve the growing needs of the Mesquite community.

Special thanks to our team, Revolution Engineering, RJC, Bulloch Brothers Engineering, OCMI, and PCNA. SHF International is the General Contractor.

Congratulations to the Paiute Tribe on the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Paiute Wellness Center and Gymnasium! Chairman Benny Tso was presented with a certificate from the Office of Mayor Shelley Berkley. This new 15,000 sf facility is located adjacent to the existing Medical Center on the tribal land along Main Street, north of downtown Las Vegas.

The Wellness Center contains offices, a teaching kitchen, and a dedicated exercise area. The Gymnasium accommodates either full-court basketball, volleyball courts, or cross-court basketball. It will also be used for tribal gatherings, assemblies, and events. The courtyard created by these two elements will also be used for tribal ceremonies and events. Aptus was the architect and interior designer and appreciates our consultant team, including CivilWorks, Wright Engineers, IMEG, OCMI, Schwob, and Westwood. Thank you!
