We sat down with the Beazer Homes team this week for a Lunch and Learn that covered a lot more than masonry.

Big shout out to Brad, Xavier, Ivan, and Gladys for putting the presentation together. They walked through how a masonry project actually comes together, from permitting and estimating all the way down to the details that matter once we are in the field.

These are the days we like. Real questions, real answers, and a better understanding on both sides before a single block goes up.

Expect More is not just about the wall. It is about being a resource, communicating clearly, and making sure our partners know what is happening at every stage.

Industry Night kicked off Construction vs. Cancer 2026, and the room was full. Contractors, partners, families, and supporters, together for one night and one mission: the fight against pediatric cancer.

There was networking. There was a raffle. But what people are still talking about are the stories. Hearing directly from the people behind this mission changed the energy in that room. An industry that spends every day building things was reminded it can build something else entirely.

Thank you to everyone who came, gave, and set the tone for this year. We’re proud to stand alongside a community that steps up when it counts.

Southwest Gas facility with Summit Construction.

31,717 sq ft of structural CMU across two buildings. 29,174 sq ft of site walls. Just under 76,000 units total.

Three colors, two textures, smooth and split, carried consistently across the perimeter and both structures.

Obney Mini Storage gave us the chance to prove what our team could do with a new partner.

Working with Charger Construction, we completed four structures along with several site walls, totaling roughly 16,000 square feet of masonry. The structural scope alone included more than 20,000 block.

But the bigger story on this project was the opportunity behind it. This was our first major job with Charger Construction, and we knew we had to make it count.

Our team stayed responsive, performed in the field, and delivered the level of service we expect from ourselves. That performance has already helped us earn two additional projects with Charger.

One project can open a door. How you perform once it’s open is what keeps it that way.

17 leaders. One room.

Yesterday our entire leadership team spent a full working day with D.J. Allen and Jay Ship from X’s and O’s.

We do it because the strongest teams aren’t the ones with the highest expectations. They’re the ones that understand each other well enough to hit them.

Our teams across Nevada and Arizona feel it when leadership is aligned. So do the general contractors and builders counting on us to hit a schedule.

We walked out knowing each other better than we did that morning. Clearer on what we’re building and who’s carrying what. 17 people who spend most days in different divisions, leaving as one team.

Everybody signed the ball on the way out. 8.12.26. That one’s going on the wall.

Custom fence, gates, and decorative iron built in our shop.

Every panel gets fabricated to the job instead of pulled off a shelf. Once it’s welded it goes to Hirschi Powder Coating for finish, so it shows up on site ready to set and nobody is waiting on paint.

Before and After.

Every award has a story behind it.
Ours is Faith Lutheran Crusader Technology Center.

One hundred thousand square feet. A three and a half month schedule that started as a six month schedule. Sixty foot CMU walls. Zero recordable incidents from start to finish.

This project was the anchor of our Subcontractor of the Year submission at the 2026 NCA Contractor of the Year Awards. And last Thursday, out of every subcontractor in Southern Nevada, Hirschi Companies was named Subcontractor of the Year.

Faith Lutheran did not happen by accident. It happened because every crew member on that job showed up every day and delivered work we are all proud of. It happened because our safety team refused to let speed compromise standards. It happened because our estimating team, our project engineers, and our project manager set the plan up right from day one.

This is what masonry looks like when the whole company is aligned around a single goal.

Grateful for the Nevada Contractors Association for the recognition. Grateful for the general contractor and the entire project team who trusted us with the work. And grateful for the Hirschi crew who made it possible.

Crystal spent her Saturday morning with the women of WINGS running a goal setting class built around Atomic Habits. Not a speech. Not a photo op. Two hours of real work on how you actually build a life, one small habit at a time.

And these women showed up ready. They dug into the notebooks, filled every worksheet, asked hard questions, and pushed each other. The energy in that room was something else.

That is what our leadership looks like. They give away their Saturdays and then never mention it.

Thank you to Shine a Light for letting us be part of this, and to every woman in that room. You did the work. We just brought the notebooks.
