was founded in 1970 by Tom Wagner. The company started with just six employees, an asphalt spreader box, one roller, two dump trucks, and a backhoe. Using honesty, integrity, hard work, and his main rule: “Treat every customer’s project as if you were doing it for yourself,” he grew Wagner Paving into what it is today. We now average 60 employees, with many of the employees having been with us for

over 25 years. Along with retaining quality employees, Tom has also invested into an extensive and modern fleet of equipment to better serve his customers. Fifty years later the same philosophy still applies.

Taking a minute to shout out the real MVPs of Wagner Paving: our field crew! (And yes, we're looking to add a few more to the team! Read below 👇)

While most people are still hitting snooze, these guys are already loading up the equipment and getting ready to lay down some of the best asphalt in the Dayton area. The days can be long and the pavement definitely gets hot, but our crews tackle it all with grit and a lot of laughs along the way. We couldn't do what we do without them.

Because they are crushing it, our schedule is packed and our work family is growing. If you’re looking for a change of pace and good pay with great benefits, we have a few spots open right now. Experience is great, but a good attitude and a willingness to hustle is what we really care about.
