Twenty years ago, Bill graduated from Mississippi State University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Design with a Bachelor of Architecture and a simple belief - that thoughtful design has the power to shape the way we live.
Over the past two decades, that belief has carried him from the offices of Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City to founding Holloway Home Designs and co-founding Lake And Land Studio. Along the way, he has helped shape homes and boathouses at Big Bay Lake - Mississippi’s largest private lake community, helped design more than 100 projects for HGTV’s hit show Home Town, reimagined neighborhoods in The Villages of Florida, co-designed the 2023 Southern Living Idea House in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, and crafted private residences throughout the South.
This year marks the beginning of a new chapter with the launch of Bill Holloway Design - a practice built on twenty years of experience, a deep appreciation for Southern architecture, and the conviction that every home should tell the story of the people who live there.
For Bill, architecture has never been simply about plans, elevations, or square footage. It is about creating places where children grow up, families gather around the table, and traditions are passed from one generation to the next. Every project is personal, and every client is entrusted with something that matters deeply: home.
We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey so far, and excited for what lies ahead. Thank you for following along. We look forward to sharing the homes, stories, and projects that are just beginning to take shape.
