Happy Friday, friends!

The first weekend of fall is here and we are so excited to see these cooler temperatures.

With all the flooding southern Ohio has experienced in the past few weeks, we have had high amounts of requests for repairs. We are doing our very best to get back to everyone in a timely manner.

Did you know we offer pond repair services?

We recently took on a pond that was losing water due to a leak. After digging down to locate the problem area, we repaired the damaged section and properly packed the area with bentonite to help seal the leak and restore the pond.

From identifying the problem to getting the pond sealed back up, we made sure the repair was done right and built to hold water.

Another Drainage Problem Solved!

This homeowner was dealing with clogged and ineffective downspout drainage. The existing downspouts were tied into an old catch basin, but the real problem was hidden underground.

Once we excavated the system, we discovered that the existing drainage pipe wasn’t actually discharging where the homeowner thought it was. The pipe was dead-ended into mud, preventing water from properly draining away from the property.

Our solution:
• Removed the old catch basin
• Replaced approximately 100 feet of downspout piping
• Installed a new drainage exit
• Created a proper discharge point to allow water to flow away from the property

Proper drainage starts with finding the problem—not just treating the symptoms. At CTC Excavating LLC, we dig deeper to identify the cause and provide a long-term solution.
