Last week, members of our RD Johnson Excavating team — along with a couple little helpers, and some friends from Sunflower Paving — spent the day at the 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵-𝗔-𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸 event hosted by Central Bank of the Midwest.

It was a great day watching kids get up close with the equipment we use every day—and seeing that curiosity come to life.

We’re proud to be part of communities that bring people together—not just at the job site, but through moments like these.

On a wooded residential job south of Lawrence, our crew tackled a drainage culvert replacement where every load had to be moved with intention.

Material was hauled in, then carefully worked down the slope and around two ponds using a skid steer—proving once again that the job gets done, no matter the terrain.

Steep hillsides. Tight accesses. No shortcuts. This is what experience looks like.
