The Hartford deck transformation got a lot of attention this week, so here’s a closer look at the details.

We rebuilt this outdoor space with TimberTech Advanced PVC decking in French White Oak, black aluminum railing, a drink rail, 48-inch-wide stairs and landing, and post-cap lighting.

The result is a safer, lower-maintenance deck with plenty of room to gather—and details that make it feel like part of the home instead of an add-on.
