Emporia — that was some serious hail. ⛈️

Last week’s storm brought large hail through the Emporia area, and damage to a roof isn’t always obvious from the ground.

Alpha Roofing has been serving Northeast Kansas for more than 20 years. Colin and Tim are busy looking at roofs and available for free inspections.

Employee Spotlight:
🌟 Cesar Marques-Fuentes 🌟

We’re proud to recognize Cesar Marques-Fuentes, the leader of our Keystone Precision Metal division.

Originally from Pasadena, California, Cesar moved to Kansas after his older brother introduced him to the sheet metal trade. More than eight years later, he’s built a career defined by precision, craftsmanship, and pride in every project.

One of Cesar’s favorite projects is installing coping, because it’s highly visible and allows him to drive by years later and see the quality of his work still standing strong.

When asked what he enjoys most about Alpha Roofing, his answer was simple:
“The environment. Everyone knows what they’re doing, and communication is valued.”

Outside of work, Cesar is a devoted husband and father of three. His family is his greatest motivation. He also loves playing soccer and even fulfilled a lifelong dream by attending a FIFA World Cup match with his oldest son.

His advice to others?
“Treat others how you want to be treated.”

Cesar, thank you for your leadership, dedication, and commitment to quality. We’re grateful to have you leading our Keystone Precision Metal team and appreciate everything you do for Alpha Roofing!

Some projects are about more than building—they're about helping preserve history.

Alpha Roofing was honored to partner with MarLan Construction on the new facility at Allegawaho Heritage Memorial Park near Council Grove, Kansas. Our team installed an adhered 80-mil TPO roofing system as part of this meaningful project.

The park is the new home of In ‘zhúje’waxóbe (the Sacred Red Rock), a culturally significant monument that was returned to the Kaw Nation after nearly a century in Lawrence. The 28-ton stone was once located by the Kansas River near Topeka and was sacred to the Kaw people. The relocation marks an important step in honoring the history, heritage, and enduring connection of the Kaw people to this land.

We're proud to have played a small role in a project that will serve as a place of education, reflection, and remembrance for generations to come.

Thank you to MarLan Construction for the opportunity to be part of such an impactful project.
