Another fireplace makeover, this time in Hidden Valley Lake, IN. The homeowners opted to go with this Simplifire electric insert due to multiple internal issues within the chimney system. Those issues made it extremely unsafe to burn wood unless properly fixed. Now, it's clean, simple and looks great!

Today, we were able to work with a new family in the Valley Woods Community in Greendale, IN.
🔥 Old crown was removed & found rotting plywood underneath next to the chimney.
🔥 A new crown was poured, we also replaced (4) bricks that had "popped" due to the moisture.
🔥 Pressure was & sealed with waterproofing treatment.

Today, we were in Indian Hill, OH helping a repeat customer of ours!
The chimney had some mortar joints that were cleaned up. It was pressure washed and sealed as well. To top it off, we placed a custom, locally fabricated, stainless steel chase cover on the top.

🔥Exposed wood was found where the chimney flue & smoke chamber meet.
🔥The basement flue tile is exposed inside the upstairs fireplace smoke chamber!

🔥The old fuel oil furnace flue was eliminated.
🌧 The brick was pressure washed and sealed with Chimney Saver water repellent.
