A paint job is only as good as the prep behind it…
When we arrived at this home, the exterior trim was in rough shape. The existing paint was flaking, peeling, and showing major adhesion failure in several areas. This can happen when surfaces aren’t properly prepared or primed before painting, or when the wrong coating is used for the application.
Instead of simply painting over the problem, we took the time to fix it the right way.
We started by pressure washing the trim to remove dirt, debris, and loose material. From there, we thoroughly scraped and sanded the failing areas, properly primed the exposed surfaces, and finished everything with two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald® Rain Refresh™, a premium exterior coating designed for lasting protection and durability.
The difference speaks for itself! 👏
Proper prep might take a little more time, but it’s what separates a paint job that simply looks good today from one that’s built to last.
