Some renovations are about one feature. This one was about getting all the pieces of the home working together.

Behind the finished walls, the electrical and plumbing were updated. Then came new sheetrock, flooring, cabinetry and the finish work that gives the home its character.

The kitchen now has a warm, lived-in feel with cabinetry that takes advantage of the available space, bright countertops, recessed lighting and dark flooring that carries into the surrounding areas. Even details like the exposed brick were able to remain part of the home’s personality rather than being covered up.

And that’s what we like about projects like this, updating what a home needs while keeping the things that make it feel like that home.

A door is only as useful as what waits on the other side.

For this home, we built a deck with enough breathing room for real life, chairs around the table, food on the grill, guests moving comfortably, and plenty of space left to enjoy it all.

Warm stained boards give the deck a relaxed, natural character, while the black balusters add a sharp contrast around the perimeter. Broad stairs create a strong entrance, and the finished skirting keeps every angle looking intentional.

A well built outdoor space that fits the home, gives the backyard a purpose, and is ready to be used.

Building A Better Future for Animals, One Hot Dog at a Time!

We are SO excited to announce that starting this week Gorecki General Construction LLC and The Dog Spot have teamed up to make a real difference for animals in our community. Norbert Gorecki, owner and operator of Gorecki Construction, came to us just to offer his support! He has generously offered to donate $1 for EVERY hot dog sold on Wednesdays and Saturday to our highlighted local rescue or shelter organization of the week!!

What this means, is that thanks to Norbert Gorecki and Gorecki General Construction LLC kindness, on EVERY Wednesday and EVERY Saturday at The Dog Spot, each hot dog that is sold will help raise funds for a local animal shelter or rescue organization in need. Norbert Gorecki’s generosity will go a long way, especially as he wanted to make this an ongoing partnership that continues to support animal organizations weekly and allows families to participate as well.

So, we hope you will gather up the family and enjoy some hot dogs at The Dog Spot - knowing that you will be helping build a better future for the many, many animals in need, one dollar and one hot dog at a time 🌭🐾

A front porch should feel like part of the home, not just the space leading up to it.

For this project, we updated the porch with four new windows, a newly poured concrete surface, freshly painted ceilings, and posts wrapped in AZEK for a crisp, finished appearance with long-lasting durability. Each improvement works together to give the entire front of the home a cleaner, more refined presence.

The bright white posts and ceiling frame the brick exterior beautifully, while the new concrete creates a solid, even foundation for everyday use. New windows add another layer of polish and help the porch feel more connected to the rest of the home.

Now it is a front entrance that feels cared for, welcoming, and ready for quiet mornings, afternoon conversations, and every guest who walks up the path

This half bathroom received a complete surface update, including removal of the existing wall tile, new sheetrock, fresh paint, and new floor tile. Reworking the walls created a cleaner foundation for the room, while the soft stone-look flooring adds texture and a durable finish suited for everyday use.

A great retail space does more than hold merchandise, it sets the tone for the entire brand.

For this new store at Menlo Park Mall, we created a clean, high-impact interior where every element works together. Custom shelving runs throughout the space, giving the store a consistent layout with plenty of room for organized, eye-catching displays. The bright walls and marble-look flooring keep the interior open and refined, while the black ceiling, storefront, and central structure add contrast and a strong sense of identity.

Careful painting, detailed finish work, rounded architectural features, and a full track-lighting layout give the space the polished look and flexibility a modern boutique needs. Once the merchandise is in place, the construction will step back and let the products take center stage, exactly as it should.
