Little bathroom project we did back a few months ago. Removed the linen closet and doorway for the shower just to help the bathroom feel bigger. I think it worked!

We got drywall up! We have been building this custom house in Atlanta for this beautiful COVID season. The guys had stilts and scaffolding set up in the top floor so no pictures yet. It is really looking nice though.

Built a deck last week. Old deck was smaller and not quite up to code. The old deck also had a small little breezeway from the house to the garage. I think a covered porch may be phase two of this project.

This is the basement floor of the three story deck we built last year. I don’t always get a chance to see the projects fully furnished. I am very happy I got to see this one. It turned out well.

Kitchen remodel from Christmas time. I never got any good finished product pictures until now.
We gutted the kitchen and moved the ceiling up by removing a tray that the builder so graciously provided. Then made the ceiling flat across the breakfast room and kitchen. We installed 3 LVL beams to open the room up more. We installed 8 foot wide doors and 6/0 picture windows. The finished product is a nice modern kitchen.

Our designer, had this sign made for the new house we are building. We are so appreciative to have this relationship. On top of that we are blessed to have this house to build while a lot of people are out of work. That said we just wanted to show our gratitude to the design firm that has worked with us over the last year on the pool house and now the new house we are building.

This project was stretched over a few months for various reasons. Luckily the home owner was very flexible and was doing his own thing at the same time. Here we flattened out a ceiling for a kitchen remodel. The original builder had 3 beams at 3 heights and a tray ceiling at another height and the tray wasn’t hiding anything.
We ended up raising the ceiling about 12 inches and made it smooth and flat all the way throughout the kitchen and breakfast area. We took out a vaulted ceiling in the process as well.
We also opened up a passage way from the living room to the dining room. We installed massive doors and windows to let in more natural light. I think the project turned out nice.

Here are some pictures of the finished pool house, deck, pool, and lanai.

The pool house has two bathrooms, a studio/office and a bedroom. It is completely insulated with spray foam insulation to make it extremely energy efficient. It also has a custom set of cabinetry and a floating shelf on the back wall.

The pool is 20x32 with finish and a sitting bench that is full length across one side of the shallow end. It has a 6 foot deep end and 3.5 foot shallow end. It has LED lights and a gas heater. The pool deck has an AstroTurf that looks so real most people can’t tell it’s fake until they ask.

The lanai, deck and pool house all have a tongue and groove ceiling. The painted tongue and groove is a poplar board where as the stained ceiling is pecky cypress.

The deck has decking on all of the floors. That’s almost 3000 square feet of Trex on one job! All trim and siding on the exterior of the entire project is .

The lanai has a 48” grill, a refrigerator, an ice maker and a wine cooler all of which are . The island has running water with a point of use water heater to make hot water readily accessible. The lanai also has a dining area and a sitting area with a television.

The main house has an integrated stereo and television system that allows the same media to be streaming anywhere on the property. It has outdoor speakers in the lanai and on the pool deck.

This project has been an amazing experience and we are so grateful for the opportunity to work on a project like this. It turned out really amazing. We can’t wait for another opportunity like this one!
