There’s no way around it, wood chipping IS a time consuming service that is often hard to find. Wood chipping can also be messy when not done with care. However, when done correctly with bagging, wood chipping is the obvious choice, and is a great way to protect your lawn, as opposed to leaving bald spots that are typically left behind when bundles of branches are just left in your yard to destroy your grass while waiting to be picked up.
Wood chipping also produces useful and decorative mulch that can be reused to enhance the bedding of remaining trees, bushes, and flower beds. J-Manicured Lawns neatly bags your mulch clippings, so they can be reused as you see fit!

2 Services are performed each week with wood chipping included at no additional cost through the end of June 2026. When more mulching is needed, you can renew your monthly service, or read on below for ASAP service pricing when expedited service is needed for special occasions.
$240/month with bagging (*or $180 per month with bagless mulching). With bagging included, this is an average of $30.00 each per visit for 8 lawn service visits with advanced payment in full with bagging included on or before Wednesday 06/03/2026. *This is the best option for those with up to 4 overgrown bushes OR bundles of tree branches OR trees needing to be trimmed and mulched in one month’s time. This service is also recommended for the current rain season as well as homes with faster growing Bermuda, Elijah Blue, and Foxtail grass types.
*NOTE: The bagless mulching option is recommended for homes with no trees in the front or back yard and is only $180.00, which is an average of only $22.50 each per visit for 8 lawn service visits with advanced payment in full for service on or before Wednesday 06/03/2026.
- “ONCE-A-WEEK Lawn Service” (1 Month of 4 total lawn lawn service visits per month, and up to *2 service visits can be dedicated to wood chipping)
Example: Service Visits 1&3. Grass cut once/week + Service Visits 2&4. “Height Reduction of 1 Overgrown bush, OR Mulch up to 1 Bundle of Tree Branches, OR Trim up to 1 Tree”.

With bagging included, this is an average of $40.00 each for 4 lawn service visits with advanced payment in full for service on or before Wednesday 06/03/2026. *This is a very cost effective option for those with up to 2 overgrown bushes OR bundles of tree branches OR trees needing to be trimmed and mulched. This service is also recommended for homes with faster growing Bermuda, Elijah Blue, and Foxtail grass types.

Each service is performed once/month with wood chipping included at no additional cost through the end of June 2026. If more mulching is needed, you can upgrade your monthly service, or read on below for ASAP service pricing when expedited service is needed for special occasions.
$100/month with bagging (*or $80/month with bagless mulching). This service tier is our most popular, providing consistent quality lawn care that you can depend on, and is highly recommended for homeowners, landlords, and renters seeking basic lawn care. *With bagging included, this service plan is an average of $50 each for 2 lawn service visits per month with a one-time advanced monthly payment, or less than $34 each for 3 lawn service visits per month with a 3 month advanced payment in full on or before Wednesday 06/03/2026.
*NOTE: The bagless mulching option is recommended for homes with no trees in the front or back yard and is only $80, which is an average of $40 each for 2 lawn service visits with a one-time advance payment, or less than $27 each for 3 lawn service visits per month with a 3 month advanced payment in full on or before Wednesday 06/03/2026.
- “ASAP / ONCE-A-MONTH” Lawn Service (one time visit with no future scheduled service)
Starting at just $60, this is our most basic utility lawn care service option and is highly recommended for empty lots and less frequently used rental properties. Service quotes include an additional $20 for each foot of tall grass when bagging, with a quote upon arrival and no future service schedule required.
*NOTE: With this service option, you can get a $20 discount If the width of the backyard entry gate is wider than 38 inches!
- “ASAP / ONCE-A-MONTH” Tree Trimming (*height reduction a.k.a. "Tree Doctor" service not included)
Starting at only $60 per overgrown bush OR bundle of tree branches OR tree trim, for branches up to 3 inches thick; additional $40 per overgrown bush OR bundle of tree branches OR tree trim for wood chipping with no future service schedule.
All options with bagging include: bagging (or mulching if preferred and/or wet outside), edging, w**d eating, and hedge trimming (includes up to 6 hedges/bushes less than 6 feet tall at no cost, additional hedges/bushes only $20 more per hedge/bush over those already included).
