Journal entry. October

The sun goes down. The mice come out. The bed bugs get to work. The wasps dig in for winter.

They think nobody's watching.

They're wrong.

Every call answered. Every route planned. Every treatment handled. Western New York sleeps easy because somebody stays up.

When pests move in, they'll see us coming.

They think they're hiding in the shadows. We are the shadows.
