I’ve been teasing this shower build for a while now and we finally finished it.
We decided to go all in on something creative and built a Mayan temple themed shower for this bathroom. Instead of doing a typical tile shower, we wanted something that felt completely unique and immersive.
The entire ceiling was hand painted with a cosmic space mural, and the shower area has color-changing lighting around the temple walls to give it a really dramatic atmosphere.
This project pushed us creatively and was a lot of fun to build.
This shower will be part of our new Airbnb build in Lead, South Dakota, and we can’t wait for guests to experience it.
