Confused on how an Insurance claim and roof replacement goes? Let me break it down for you!
Our company Best Roof In Town aims to make the Insurance process as easy as possible! We are Insurance specialists , we will take care of the claim so you don’t have to worry about anything except picking the products you want and watching us do all the work!
1. Inspection
We first need to do an inspection to make sure you even have damage on your roof, these inspections are completely free and an important step in the process if we want to get the roof paid for by insurance.
2. Filing the Claim
If damage was found, we then will help you file a claim with insurance, providing any details the insurance is looking for. Once we have done this they tell us a date for an adjuster to come look at the roof.
3. Adjuster Meeting
The insurance will send either an in-house adjuster or someone from a third party company to conduct their own inspection and get pictures for the office adjuster. It’s important that we are present during this inspection to be sure the adjuster doesn’t miss any damages, believe it or not this happens frequently. Insurance is in the business of making money, not giving it out so many people get denied at this stage even though they have the damage needed!
4.Approved or Denied
This is where things can start moving toward the finish line or get tricky, either way we’ve got it covered. If you were approved, awesome, we will look over the paper work, get materials picked out and get you a build date!
If denied we will have to get the insurance to either send another adjuster or they will ask for our pictures and evidence of damage if they don’t want to send another, we will repeat this until they pay!
5. Build Day
Ahh the beautiful build day, all your neighbors will be admiring as they see your brand new roof, gutters and downspouts going on, wishing they had just done the insurance process with us. We will have our Catch-All system around the house to keep debris from falling onto it, teams with magnets to get the nails and of course a full team on the roof! Most roofs only take us 1 day, however with some bigger roofs and the summer heat, we will take 2-3 if needed for the safety of our crews!
6. After Build Inspection
We will conduct another inspection 3-7 days after the build to ensure everything looks the way it should and that the roof is operating as it should.
Now you get to sit back and enjoy the life of knowing that you will not have to go through another roof replacement for atleast 20 years! And even if you do, our process makes it easy and quick!
