So this little box with the lock on it was supposed to make the trip to Minnesota with me when Cody and Shay got married...

So this little box with the lock on it was supposed to make the trip to Minnesota with me when Cody and Shay got married. It patiently waited on my desk at home and although I went up a few days early, it was not until the day before the wedding I remembered I had forgotten to pack it. The official who married them asked if she would share that story and it was quite amusing. It is to hold item from both Cody and Shay until their 1st Anniversary. To accompany the notes, etc. was a special bottle of wine. That was not going to fit into the box so I built another with secret locking mechanism to hold their bottle of wine. All for a great couple. Congratulators to Cody and Shay!

Finally finished up the living room cabinets. The spaces in the center unit were open at first and then I added drawer...

Finally finished up the living room cabinets. The spaces in the center unit were open at first and then I added drawers but did not have anything for drawer fronts. Got some more Hickory recently at Dakota Lumber and finished up the drawer fronts! Now I can watch Pokeman in peace!

Now this has been given I can post the photo. Made on spalted Hackberry and finished with amber shellac.
