One thing that sets Funk apart: we self-perform many of the tasks on our jobsites.

Our team includes Superintendents, Foremen, Lead Carpenters, and Laborers — all skilled tradespeople who handle everything from concrete foundations and rough carpentry to finish work, demolition, and more.

On smaller projects, we take on even more of the work ourselves. It's how we maintain quality and accountability from start to finish.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Bob Stager, a beloved superintendent here at Funk Construction.

This past March, Bob marked 24 years with our team. Over those years, he became far more than a colleague. He was a mentor, a friend, and a steady presence on every job site. Bob brought care and craftsmanship to his work each day, and he helped shape the people we are and the projects we are proud to build.

To Bob's family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of working beside him, we extend our deepest condolences. He will be dearly missed, and his memory will remain a part of Funk Construction for years to come.

Rest well, Bob. Thank you for everything.

🚴‍♂️ The new Coleman Park Bike Track officially opened earlier this summer, and it's already a hit with kids (and the young at heart)! 🎉

While Funk Construction didn’t build the track, our Vice President, Dave Funk, an avid athlete and cyclist, played a key role in bringing it to life. As Chair of Coleman Memorial Park, he led fundraising efforts, connected with industry partners for materials, and made a personal donation alongside his wife, Laurie.

The incredible track was crafted by local talent Brandon Hetrick, recognized as one of the best bike track builders in the world! With projects spanning the US, China, and South Africa, his expertise has turned this dream into a reality for our community!

This project showcases the amazing power of community collaboration. 🚲❤️
