Leading provider of commercial electrical services in greater Cincinnati and Columbus

10/19/2026

WFC (Working from Columbus) this week!

It’s time for premier expo that brings together electrical contractors, manufacturers, and industry leaders from across the country for education, networking, and the latest innovations shaping the future of the electrical industry.

KES has about 20 team members participating this year, including many of our foremen, superintendents, and project managers who will take part in multi-day training and educational sessions!

You can catch us in the expo hall at booth 551 alongside our Fire Alarms partner, Honeywell Gamewell-FCI.

We’re looking forward to learning a few new things, catching up with familiar faces, and connecting with others across the industry.

Taking a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication our associates bring every day, and all that we can create together. from Kings Electric!

Proud to see the incredible work our team helped bring to life at Cincinnati's Fidelity Hotel ✨

An old Cincinnati icon gets a new spark ⚡️

Originally constructed downtown in 1913, the Gwynne Building is a landmark piece of local history that once housed P&G’s global headquarters and longtime Cincy jeweler, Richter & Phillips.

This Beaux-Arts architectural high-rise has been transformed into Cincinnati's Fidelity Hotel, blending iconic French Parisian style with modern hospitality. The boutique hotel features 165 apartment-style rooms, casual and formal dining venues, and numerous private event spaces for meetings, gatherings and celebrations.

The challenge? Modernizing the electrical infrastructure of an early 1900s-era building while preserving its historic architecture and features

The fun? Getting to install the hotel’s collection of gorgeous and unique light fixtures — all of the pieces bring so much character to this finished space

Our team provided the electrical service, lighting installation, fire alarm systems and more to help bring this historic Cincinnati building into a new era.

Six More Weeks of Winter: Electrical Safety Checklist ❄️

Groundhog, and meteorologists, say winter weather is sticking around! That means heaters, lights, and appliances working overtime to keep us warm and occupied inside.

Stay safe with these electrical tips for your home, work and job sites:

💠 Plug heaters directly into wall outlets, no extensions/strips
💠 Never operate generators indoors or near openings
💠 Spread out electrical load, don’t stack multiple heating devices
💠 Keep battery-powered lights (and working batteries) ready in case of outages

This Monday, we’re taking time to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by reflecting on the values of service, fairness, and respect he championed, and how we can bring them into our lives and communities 🤝
