Thanks to for finishing this tree for Bartlett. I heard this union price weighed 21,000 lbs. I haven't heard what the base weighed....maybe Pete will chime in with that answer or a Bartlett employee that was there. Good job guys!!

A monster Silver maple in Easton, PA with Bartlett Tree Experts - Emmaus. After getting all the brush off, and most of the wood up to 20" diameter. We spent some time removing the ivy so we could see the true girth of the tree. It is 71" diameter at 3' off the ground. The branch union location is probably 24" larger in diameter (guessing). Unfortunately I had to say that I am not lifting that...hopefully a stick crane will be able to setup on the narrow road and lift it for them tomorrow.

Tentatively opened this Friday (May 1st) for work. It was originally a purple day, but I don't need it for maintenance. I say tentatively because there is fairly high chance for rain on Wednesday...so if it effects that day's job they would have priority on Friday if they wanted that day as make up day. So any booking on this day would remain as pending until Wednesday's job becomes a go or no go.

The only other photo I took at Crane Safety Climber School (new load cell Yoos is using). I am only posting it because you have to post a picture when posting on Instagram 😂. What I really wanted to say is it was another great year with a bunch of really good students! The weather also couldn't have been much better (no rain until pretty much wrapped up). It is so awesome to help train and also to catch up with you all...friends I only get to see once or twice a year. Thanks to Pete and the others for letting me be a part of this and for making it happen every year!

A week long project with Southern End Tree Service at Muddy Run Constellation Energy. We got it done in 3 long days...I had 35 hours in it. Cleared both banks of all the trees and most of the brush. Only my second time reaching downhill, and first time was only a quick day project.

If you want to know why I have a surcharge for offroad, here is a great example. You never truly know what you are driving or settling up on. If this happens, a few hundred times you paid my surcharge would only begin to pay for the damages. Just saying.

Hopefully finish this 3 day project with around noon tomorrow. 3 huge oak trees being removed in Lititz, PA. The largest one (closest to the yellow house and most of the pictures) is 60" dbh and I'm fully extended at 80 degrees and 105'...barely got the top small enough for a somewhat comfortable cut. First day we started late and had some crane issues...grrr.
