Finally had a chance to process muscadine grapes that have been waiting in the freezer!

It’s a process but well worth it!
Can’t wait to make some biscuits to slather this goodness on!

Cucumbers and carrot tops and carrots available Stuermer Store in Ledbetter.

They are the only store in our town and it’s full of treasures! They have cold and hot sandwiches and sweet treats!

If you are traveling on 290, stop in for some snacks and check out the history on this place!

The official first tomato of the season!

Costelluto Genovese 🍅

It was originally not even planned. We moved, tilled a fresh garden. The first set of seedlings I started germinating had an accident and I started over.

This tomato plant just started growing in one of my rows out of nowhere. Months earlier than my planned tomato seedlings.

Tonight, it will tenderly be sliced and sprinkled with top shelf salt and freshly cracked pepper.

This is what gardeners live for!

This shows the up-blocking for plants that have germinated.

🌱This removes the need for plastics.
🌱Increases the air flow to the roots.
🌱Allows just enough water to grow the plant.
🌱Establishes a stronger root system.
🌱Decreases original germination space in the greenhouse thus saving space.
