We get asked about rain chains quite a bit, so we wanted to explain why we typically do not install them.

While rain chains can look beautiful and decorative, they often do not perform as reliably as traditional downspouts — especially during heavy Midwest rainstorms. Water can splash, overflow, pool around foundations, and create drainage issues over time. See below
