In this remote role, you'll develop cost estimates for high-voltage substation projects up to 500 kV, including BESS, EPC, renewable energy interconnections, new construction, and facility upgrades. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, analyzing labor and material needs, evaluating vendor quotes, and supporting bid proposals.

If you are a senior-level estimator with experience in substation estimating, enjoy working collaboratively across operations, engineering, and project management teams, and are passionate about helping deliver critical energy infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.

July is the perfect time to reinforce job briefings and ensure every crew is prepared for changing summer conditions.

Effective job briefings cover work steps, potential hazards, mitigation measures, weather impacts, and clear stop-work triggers if conditions change.

When weather or site conditions shift, every worker must have the authority to pause work without hesitation. Stop Work Authority is only effective when it is understood, supported, and used.

Every worker has a responsibility to speak up when the plan no longer matches the conditions in the field. That's how we prevent small issues from becoming serious incidents and help ensure everyone goes home safely every day.
