I wanted to share this recent project we did in Ashburn VA. As well as to share a little insight!
We were performing another job in this neighborhood when the homeowner of this property approached us. He explained to me that he had filed a claim for storm damage on his own roof & it had been denied due to lack of damage.
I thought, well, let me take a look at it & see whats going on with it. Upon inspection I discovered extensive storm related damages to the roof that were not even close to the insurance carriers conclusion. I compiled my case & reached out to the senior adjuster for a re-inspection request. The re-inspection was granted based off my findings, evidence & qualifications.
I met with the assigned adjuster and walked the roof with him, showing him my findings. His words upon completion of the inspection were "I am embarrassed". - He had not walked the roof himself & had instead relied on his assistants assessment. His assistant said the damage is minimal and lacking.
However, as soon as the adjuster stepped onto the roof the damage was clear and apparent to him. He apologized to the homeowner and I for allowing the denial to occur and informed us that the denial would be reversed immediately.
In the end, we were able to provide this homeowner with a new roof, new gutters, new downspouts and a fresh set of high-quality gutter guards at no cost to him.
If you are in a similar situation please, give us a call or send us a message. You never know if your claim denial should have been an approval. That's what we're here for. We don't gaurantee coverage. We can't *make* your carrier provide coverage. However, what we will do is hold them accountable for the coverage your entitled to under your policy when justified.
We've helped countless homeowners in this predicament. Let us help you next!
